Action
Ben's Life Series.
When the bright lights and flashing cameras of Hollywood capture your every move, how can you fulfill your deepest desires? For Zack Greene, a formerly out-of-control actor, and Steve Michaels, the director who unearthed the heart of the man beneath the ego, it’s a constant struggle.
In public, Steve and Zack are the picture of professional partners. However, behind closed doors, their partnership is taken to a new level. They engage in a carefully constructed Dom/sub relationship that not only brings them pleasure, but keeps Zack from slipping back into his wild ways.
Their delicate balance is thrown askew when a producer on the show threatens to expose their lifestyle, while taking advantage of Zack in a moment of vulnerability. Will Steve be able to ease the pain and save the love they share? Or will they come apart when they need each other most?

Brenda & Steve: Liz, welcome back to our blog! We’re so
excited you could join us for a chat. When did you first decide to submit your
work to be published? Tell us what or who encouraged you to take this big step.
Liz: Chris, Matt, and Aiden (the main characters of Expectations, told me in no uncertain
terms that their story had to be shared with the world. That was in 2010. Three
books in that series and the beginning of another, here we are.
Brenda & Steve: Please tell us a little about your new
release, Action, without giving too much of a spoiler away.
Liz: Steve and Zack, a director and actor, respectively, are
happily in a long-term Dom/sub relationship, until a producer on the television
series they work on sets his sights on Zack. It’s a sexy story fueled by love
and discipline.
Brenda & Steve: Do you plan all your characters out
before you start a story or do they develop as you write?
Liz: I have a basic idea of who my characters are, but they
still surprise me.
Brenda & Steve: How much research do you do for your
books? Have you found any cool tidbits in your research?
Liz: Oh god, for this book, I had to learn the BDSM culture.
I wasn’t satisfied with just learning surface things like toys and terminology.
No, I had to understand the psychology behind it. I wanted my books to portray
the real emotions of the people in this lifestyle. What I came to realize is
there’s such a breadth of participants, I couldn’t capture everyone. But I
managed to tell my boys’ story, while showing the parts of a D/s relationship
the majority of people don’t think about: love, trust, and security. I should
note that the BDSM elements are pretty light in Action.
Brenda & Steve: D/s is very misunderstood and soft BDSM is very erotic and a 'turn on' to practice and read. What is your writing process? Do you
outline, write by the seat of your pants (Pantser) or a combination of both?
Liz: I know the beginning, middle, end and a few scenes in
between. The specifics? Not so much.
Brenda & Steve: Do you write full time? What did you do
before you became a writer or still do?
Liz: I’m a freelance editor. I take as many manuscripts as I
can so I’m not forced into a 9-5.
Brenda & Steve: Do you have a ritual when it comes to
writing? Example….get coffee, blanket, paper, pen, laptop and a comfy place.
Liz: I’m usually drinking either Snapple or Diet Amazon
Green Tea and can only start after I’ve checked FB and email. That way I won’t
check it in the middle…or that’s what I tell myself, anyway.
Brenda & Steve: Describe a typical writing day for you.
Liz: There is no typical day. It depends on what other work
I have. But I feel like I’m in a fantastic position in terms of being able to pick
my schedule based on my muse (assuming bills are paid).
Brenda & Steve: Please give us a sneak peek at your future
books. What’s on the horizon?
Liz: There will be at least two more books in this series
and a fourth in the Taylor Twins.
Brenda & Steve: We knew you couldn’t step away from your
favorite boys! What is your favorite genre to read and who is your favorite
author?
Liz: Well, right now, I’ve been reading more BDSM to see
what others are doing. Kallypso Masters is very talented, but I can’t pick a
favorite.
Brenda & Steve: Kally's book are very successful. Is there anything else you would like to
tell the readers we have not touched on?
Liz: Thank you for supporting me and all authors. It’s
because of people like you that we can fulfill our dreams!
Brenda & Steve: Your very welcome. We love promoting our fellow authors! Where can the readers learn more about
you and find your books on the web?
Liz: My links are below. Readers, I'll feature an eBook giveaway of Action to one lucky commenter! Please leave your email address so we can easily contact the winner.
